That's odd... I thought I was able to look at it when I was in the game...

Well then that's good. That might mean it's exporting it without giving me the option not to, which is perfectly fine by me. The problem is that I can't be sure (and I assumed y'all couldn't see it because it also doesn't give me the option in the HTML reports and it definitely didn't show up there).

When y'all download the new league file after tonight's sim, let me know if you can see the WBA Cup rosters in game.

Good.

Something I was curious about but didn't mention here was confirmed. Draft prospects are eligible for WBA Cup rosters and some of them are on there. First one I found was Argentinian starting pitcher Javier Santiago.

At first glance, Brazil might be the early favorite. Holy cow

Minor upset in the first round of pool play as the Dominican Republic beats Brazil and is in first place in Pool A with a 2-0 record.

It also appears that the Dominicans will be using Juan Barajas as a starter in the tournament. I'm more than a little interested to see how that goes.

Mumbai just drafted Pakistani OF Mabarak Mohmand.  23 year old kid has played for his country before playing for a professional team.  Pretty cool, and honestly given his glove, wheels, and at-least-average hitting ability against right-handed pitching, it makes sense he's on the national team.  Same can be said for IBL first overall pick Zia Sirki, who profiles a bit better with the bat but is a worse fielder and baserunner.  Given that they both went in the first round this year, play for the same national team, and were drafted by geopolitical rivals in Mumbai and Karachi, one expects that they'll be compared throughout their careers.

(I think Huck might have mentioned something earlier about players in this draft pool being eligible for national team duty).

Mexico and The United States advance from Groups B and D, respectively. Brazil and the Dominican Republic will play a one game playoff for Group A, and China looks to clinch Group B tomorrow.

Standings after regular pool play:

Brazil and China win the one game playoffs for their Groups and the semis are set to begin with Brazil versus Mexico and China versus the United States.

Mexico and the United States both sweep their best-of-3 semi series and will meet in the first WBA Cup Finals.
