Sargento Gets FSSL Batter of the Month Trophy Friday, September 1st, 1939 Seasoned by several years of professional experience, 30-year-old Dionísio Sargento put together a solid offensive month for Rome and was crowned August's top batter in the Fast Sim Side League. He batted .414 with no home runs, 16 RBIs and 26 runs scored. This year Sargento is hitting .326, produced 67 RBIs and 1 home runs, scored 91 times and gotten on base at a .358 rate. |
