Díaz on Fire: 5-for-6 for Mexico City Thursday, May 14th , 2144 It was a sensational day at the plate for Carlos Díaz as he led the charge to a 22-3 win over the Thunderbirds. The Mexico City left fielder was pure misery for the El Paso pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Díaz put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said AP MP, manager for the Thunderbirds, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage.
