Stars Blank Mexico City, Tarand Winner Friday, June 25th , 2134 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Mexico City Aztecs as starter Nikolai Tarand shut out the Mexico City Aztecs 7-0 at Field of the Stars. The Los Angeles pitcher struck out 10 and walked 1 while allowing 3 hits. "Tarand was good but he wasn't flawless," Mexico City manager Square Drive said later. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Los Angeles, but this is on us."
