ABL-AAA's #1 Player Named Monday, June 12th , 2147 Anacleto Cavilhas of the Fresno Stars was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Cavilhas put up some great numbers and hauled in the Americas Baseball League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .423 with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. The 28-year-old first baseman also scored 3 runs and for the week went 11-for-26. In 57 games this season Cavilhas has compiled a .293 batting average with 65 hits and 13 home runs. He has also scored 25 times and knocked in 54 runs. |
