Stasic on Fire, Strikes out 15 Castles Tuesday, June 27th , 2147 Florence defeated the Bergen Castles today at Centurions Ballpark. The Centurions got a strong outing from winning pitcher Waldemar Stasic. He blazed 15 third strikes past Bergen batters. Stasic won the game 6-0, allowing 3 hits and giving up 4 walks in the victory. Thus far this season Stasic has compiled a 8-3 record, made no relief appearances with no saves, hurling 101 innings and striking out 139. He has held the opposition to a .237 batting average with a 3.03 ERA. |
