Bugti Fires Shutout in Asteroids Victory Saturday, July 8th , 2147 Khurshid Bugti of the Adelaide Asteroids was cool and collected on the mound, leading his club to a shutout victory over the Bremen Foxes, 7-0. "He was mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," Adelaide manager said later. "When Khurshid does that, good things happen." The right-hander had 13 strikeouts, 3 walks and allowed 4 hits in the win. So far this season Bugti has a 3-5 record with a 2.42 ERA. |
