Petty Blanks Sapporo, 6-0 Saturday, July 15th , 2147 Paul Petty of the Mombasa Chameleons toyed with the Sapporo Shogun today, blanking them 6-0 at Merlions Ballpark. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 6-hit shutout with 9 strikeouts and 3 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Petty said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." This season Petty has worked 30.1 innings with 33 strikeouts en route to a 2-1 record and a 1.78 ERA. |
