Peponi Skunks Growlers Friday, July 28th , 2147 Siad Peponi of the Belo Horizonte Jaguars was lights-out in a 3-hit whitewash of the Grand Rapids Growlers. "I had my good stuff and it went where I wanted it to go," he told BNN reporters after the contest. Peponi registered 8 strikeouts and no walks in shutting out Grand Rapids, 3-0. So far this year, Peponi is batting .233 with 1 home run and 14 RBIs. |
