Rodeo Flores Suffers Setback Sunday, September 3rd , 2147 Things have gotten worse for Pedro Flores of the Houston Rodeo. The 26-year-old catcher will not be back as soon as originally expected. Flores is undergoing treatment for a tender achilles tendon (wba), but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least one week. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Pedro tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." Presently Flores is batting .252 with 88 hits and 15 home runs. He has knocked in 49 runs and scored 40 times. |
