That's what Stephen Scholey was doing at Foxes Ballpark today as he blanked the Bochum Foxes in a 9-inning complete game shutout. "I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Chongqing Emperors left-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid." Scholey notched 7 strikeouts, surrendered 2 walks, allowed 2 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long. In 12 starts this season Scholey has crafted a 5-3 record with a 2.75 ERA. |
