IBL-AA Batter of the Month Honors to Wik Tuesday, August 1st , 2147 For a rookie just breaking in, Sander Wik certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the IBL-AA Batter of the Month award for July. The 23-year-old right fielder for the Toulouse Fleur-de-Lis hit .349 with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 14 runs scored. For the season, Wik is hitting at a .275 clip with 17 home runs, 45 RBIs and has scored 41 runs. He has 81 hits, 57 walks and a .408 on-base percentage. |
