Hit Parade: Shih Pops 5 Hits Friday, August 11th , 2147 The Canberra Comets swept past the Trondheim Scholars 14-3 today at Badgers Stadium, paced by shortstop Zong-ming Shih. The 23-year-old Shih got 5 hits in 6 at-bats, helping to down the Scholars. Zong-ming Shih singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Zivon Bazzhin in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 8th. In 2147 Shih has hit at a .264 clip with 110 hits, 4 home runs, 42 RBIs and has scored 52 times. |
