Sodhani Suspended, Out 3 Games Saturday, August 19th , 2147 For his part in an altercation with an umpire over a third strike, Belem Jaguars shortstop Arsa Sodhani will have to sit out 3 games. The league commissioner's office today notified the Jaguars that Sodhani had been suspended for his poor conduct during the Aztecs game yesterday at Jaguars Stadium. After being ejected, Sodhani turned and walked toward the dugout, but then turned around, began yelling at the umpire and kicked dirt on home plate. The league said this type of behavior is not acceptable and will be dealt with according to league disciplinary policies. This season in 110 games, Sodhani has hit at a .254 clip with 86 hits, 12 home runs, 51 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
