Menes Holds Vegueros Scoreless Thursday, September 14th , 2147 Everything clicked on the hill today for Honesto Menes as he hurled the Austin Grackles to a 1-0 shutout win over the Pinar Del Rio Vegueros, limiting them to 2 hits while recording 6 strikeouts and yielding no walks. He overpowered some batters with fastballs and buckled knees with sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," Vegueros manager said.
