Alisjahbana Sizzles -- Smokes Jaguars for 5 Hits Friday, September 22nd , 2147 Soleh Alisjahbana put on a hitting clinic today at Jaguars Stadium, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Belem pitchers for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Austin Grackles, who still fell, 9-7. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Alisjahbana told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." Soleh Alisjahbana singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Alisjahbana has put up a .248 batting average with 28 hits, 1 home run and 11 RBIs. |
