Thompson Twirls 2-0 Shutout for Lions Friday, July 21st , 2147 Joe Thompson kept the Bielefeld Foxes hitters off balance all game long as the Kristiansand Lions pitcher blanked the Foxes, 2-0. Thompson gave up 4 hits, struck out 3 and walked 2. In the postgame press conference, the right-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length. "It was a nice win in a long season," he said.
