Star of the Week Named in ABL-A Monday, July 24th , 2147 The Americas Baseball League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Asaru Mkristo, first baseman of the Cienfuegos Elefantes. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .600 pace to win the award. Mkristo went 6-for-10 for the week, totaled 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 7 times. Mkristo is currently batting .252 with 8 home runs, 44 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 294 at-bats. |
