Reliever Claims IBL-A Pitching Award Tuesday, August 1st , 2147 Venice Legionnaires fans lauded the selection of reliever Ricardo Fernández as Intercontinental Baseball League Pitcher of the Month for July. The 29-year-old hurler was nothing short of masterful, holding enemy hitters to a .207 average. In no relief appearances he put up a 4-0 record, no saves, 43 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.09 over 33 innings. In no relief appearances this season, Fernández has no saves. He has 15 wins and no losses, 1.27 ERA and 153 strikeouts in 141.1 innings. |
