Bizenjo Tosses 2-0 Shutout for Goiania Thursday, August 10th , 2147 The bats were ice cold today for the Long Beach Stars at Long Beach Grounds. Goiania Toucans starter Saiyid Bizenjo kept the Stars cold all day, shutting them out in a 2-0 victory. In a fine outing, the 22-year-old hurler allowed 4 hits while striking out 2 and walking 0. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Bizenjo admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." For the year Bizenjo has a 11-7 record with a 2.22 ERA in 22 starts. |
