The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Aztecs have missed the playoffs 37 times in their 48 years as a WBA Single A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 23rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2124.
