ABL-A Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Garcs Friday, September 1st , 2147 For a rookie just breaking in, Tillmão Garcs certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the ABL-A Batter of the Month award for August. The 20-year-old center fielder for the Long Beach Stars hit .385 with 2 home runs, 26 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This year Garcs is batting .299 with 149 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 82 times and has batted in 84 runs. |
