Galveston Wins Top Spot in Americas Baseball League North American Division Monday, September 11th , 2147 It was far from a foregone conclusion, but the Galveston Jubilee are now champions of the Americas Baseball League North American Division. "We battled, day in and day out," said starting pitcher Dermott Fry. "This is one to savor, as it was close right down to the end and that puts a lot of pressure on a team." With a record of 83-49, the Jubilee have officially won their 3rd division crown. The team's manager said there's "a lot of pride and excitement" involved in coming out on top of the Americas Baseball League North American Division. The club will now be looking to win the 5th WBA Single A championship in franchise history. |
