Goiania Sweeps into the A World Series Sunday, September 24th , 2147 Rubén Ramos said he expected the League Championship Series to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Goiania Toucans encountered little resistance in sweeping the Galveston Jubilee, to advance to the A World Series. On the series, he hit .417 with 1 home runs. He also drove in 1 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Goiania Toucans don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Venice Legionnaires - Multan Vultures series. Multan leads the series 2 games to 1. The A World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes. |
