Sato Whitewashes Ulsan, 6-0 Tuesday, May 23rd , 2147 Magic was in the air and on the mound at Falcons Ballpark today as Eichiro Sato held the Ulsan Monks spellbound in his 6-0 shutout victory. The Sargodha Peregrine pitcher went the distance, rang up 13 strikeouts, walked 0 and held the Monks to 1 hit to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," Ulsan manager said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him." To date Sato is 4-3 in 9 starts with a 2.16 ERA and has 82 strikeouts in 75 innings. |
