Naturals Wins, 2-0, as Wang Mystifies Kumamoto Saturday, June 10th , 2147 Naples Naturals hurler Hao Wang was at his best as he whitewashed the Kumamoto Shogun 2-0 today. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Kumamoto manager . "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Wang fired a 5-hitter and totaled 11 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout performance. Wang has made no relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 85.2 innings he has a 7-1 record, 1.89 ERA with 99 strikeouts and 21 walks. |
