Martínez Slaps 5 Hits Sunday, July 16th , 2147 5 times is the charm -- at least for Vincente Martínez. The Bonn Foxes center fielder tore up the Tianjin Emperors to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Samara Grounds today. The offensive onslaught from Martínez powered the Foxes to a 5-3 win. "Martínez was a tough out today," Tianjin manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
