Mavlutdinov Wins ABL-R Honor Monday, July 17th , 2147 There was no one hotter in the Americas Baseball League last week as Lyonya Mavlutdinov attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance to collect the Player of the Week Award. The 22-year-old Oakland catcher batted .471 with 8 hits in 17 at-bats, no home runs and 6 RBIs. This year Mavlutdinov has hit at a .247 clip with 66 hits, 4 home runs, 43 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
