ABL-R's Best Starter is Salinas Tuesday, August 1st , 2147 Over the past month Pedro Salinas has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Americas Baseball League. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Oakland Stars posted 4-0 mark and a 1.13 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 39.2 innings, permitted 26 hits and fanned 40 batters. This year Salinas has worked 142 innings with 152 strikeouts en route to a 9-3 record and 2.47 ERA. |
