Yoshida Twirls 1-0 Shutout for Rancheros Wednesday, August 2nd , 2147 It was a masterful game today for Rikyu Yoshida. The Plano Rancheros hurler pitched shutout ball against the La Romana Toros en route to a 1-0 win at Estadio Santo Domingo. In the game, Yoshida rang up 7 strikeouts, walked 1 and allowed 1 hit. "Rikyu looked like a real ace out there," Plano manager said. On his stats sheet for the year Yoshida shows a 6-10 record, 20 starts, 122.2 innings, 98 strikeouts and a 3.30 ERA. |
