Perseids Miko Tames Nice Thursday, August 3rd , 2147 Perth Perseids starter Daniel Miko tamed the Nice Fleur-de-Lis, 3-0, on 5 hits, finishing the game with 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in a sharp outing. "I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Miko said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive." This season Miko has crafted a 7-9 mark with a 3.05 ERA in 129.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .221 against him and he has 125 strikeouts. |
