Kanno Gives Kumamoto Goose Eggs Wednesday, August 16th , 2147 Kazuyuki Kanno of the Kisumu Cheetahs put on a dazzling performance at Seahawks Field today. He shut out the Kumamoto Shogun 7-0 on a well-pitched 3-hitter, ringing up 19 strikeouts and issuing no walks. "I felt strong out there all day," Kanno said later. This year Kanno has made 23 starts, thrown 174.2 innings, fanned 204 batters and walked 24. His won-lost record is 12-5 with a 1.13 ERA. |
