Kisumu's Kanno Nabs IBL-R Player of the Week Monday, August 28th , 2147 Youth was served last week as 25-year-old Kazuyuki Kanno put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other Intercontinental Baseball League pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Kisumu Cheetahs hurler rang up 14 strikeouts in 16 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.56 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. This season Kanno has compiled a 14-5 mark, 1.09 ERA and made 25 starts. |
