IBL-R #1 Pitcher in August is Kisumu's Kanno Friday, September 1st , 2147 Kazuyuki Kanno will be bringing August's Intercontinental Baseball League Pitcher of the Month trophy home to Kisumu. He excelled all month long as he kept opposing hitters guessing, reaching and hoping. Kanno started 6 games, going 5-0 with 66 strikeouts in 49 innings as he compiled his 0.92 ERA. This season to date Kanno has a record of 14 wins and 5 losses with a 1.09 ERA, has appeared in 25 games and struck out 218 in 190.2 innings. |
