Paris Starter Named IBL's Top Pitcher Saturday, September 1st, 2108 Zuleide Rainha had an outstanding August -- so good that the Intercontinental Baseball League presented him with the Pitcher of the Month Award earlier today. "There's no way to know where the Fleur-de-Lis would be without Rainha," one fan is quoted as saying. In August Rainha dominated the competition, running up a 6-0 record, a 2.06 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 48 innings. This season Rainha has 16 wins and 6 losses and a 3.18 ERA. |
