2B Carlino Mazzolani, age 27. Current rating 3.0 stars. Contact 8, Gap 8, Avoid Ks 10, Defense 6, Speed 9. Currently making the league minimum, $200,000. Excellent young second baseman in his prime, capable of hitting .300+, also fast and a decent glove man. Basically he does everything except hit home runs, and he's playing for the lowest possible salary. Will trade Mazzo and throw in $5 million for a first-round pick. Link:

1B Manuel Coronado, age 33. Current rating 4.0 stars. Crushes righthanded pitchers: 8 Contact, 9 Power. Currently making big bucks but no problem, I'll trade Coronado AND I'll pay his remaining salary AND I'll throw in $5 million more, all that for a first-round pick.

RF Owen Thrippleton, age 24 (currently in AAA). Projected rating 4.0 stars. Not a good fielder but can really hit. Power rating of 9. Hasn't been to the majors yet so none of his service time has been used up. Will be playing for the league minimum for years. C Jose Martinez, age 29 (currently in AAA). Current rating 2.5 stars. Not a great hitter but not an automatic out, and he has a Catcher Ability rating of 10, which can be a huge help to a pitching staff. Available for a third-round pick. Link:
