Title: 2106 Cash Maximum Thread
Post by: Huckleberry on January 09, 2017, 03:18:18 PM
This thread will keep track of teams on pace to lose cash to the league cash maximum rule each season and the amount they are currently forecast to lose. Owners who would like to make offers for the cash should do so whenever they want. This thread's purpose is to make sure that every league owner is aware of the teams who are in this situation so that the trades will better reflect actual market value for the cash.

As of 8/16/2106:

London Monarchs - $4,198,442
Seoul Crushers - $18,888,482

Doesn't really affect it much. We allow draft pick trades so you can still trade picks for cash after the deadline, obviously just not players until the offseason starts.

I believe these should be final numbers as there are no remaining games for London or Seoul.

London Monarchs - $3,469,402
Seoul Crushers - $18,153,793

$10 M

Hhmm, on second thought, I have no use for $10 M
AND
My best pitcher was a 5th round choice in 2103.
I'll keep it.  :)

Yes, he is. One of the three we need to replace before advancing to the offseason.

Hey, there was discussion in this thread about selling a sixth-round pick ... I don't think you can do that in this league.  The league rules state that you can't trade any pick lower than the fifth round, so I would assume that you can't sell one, either.  Is that right, Huck?

That's correct.

I can throw $3.5M for a 5th if anyone needs a little extra cash.

These were indeed the final numbers. Trades for this overrun cash must be completed prior to the first offseason sim.
