Sheesh, guys.

Will fix as I'm able.

i think we should get rid of this rule...im sure 90% of these are just accepting the demands of the players!
-
Some of these guys won't be changed because it's too late on the increase rule violations. This way the team still has to cover the higher salaries later in the contract.
Harmon - Rescaled last two seasons to 10% or lower increase
A. Chishti - Rescaled extension to 10% or lower increases
Alexander - Rescaled last two seasons to 10% or lower increase
Gonsales - Rescaled last two seasons to 10% or lower increase
Yazid - Rescaled extension to 10% or lower increases
Khorasani - Buyout increased to 25%
S. Chishti - Buyout increased to 25%

Rule exists so a GM doesn't come in, sign a bunch of players to absurdly backloaded contracts, then bail on the team when the team finances are shot to hell.
None of these violations are like that, so it's not like anyone is trying to get a leg up. No penalties or anything, just need to get them in line with the rules.

personally i front load contracts :)
but maybe we should loosen the rules so they are easier? while still banning nonsense?

Speaking of postseason contracts ... most teams have a few players who are getting automatic contract renewals each season, and in some cases the teams no longer want those players. There's a period during the offseason in which we can release such players before their contracts get renewed, and we don't have to pay a penalty for dong so. I believe last year there were some complaints because that period passed by before some of the GMs realized it. So I'll suggest that this year, when we enter the "time to take out your trash" period, there should be some kind of prominent post that notifies everyone.
(Yeah, I'm talking about you and your $550,000 salary, leftfielder Jeremias Valrio ...)

Why not just release them at the end of the regular season? There shouldn't be any kind of penalty, it should just pay off the remainder of the contract.

Correct. You should be able to release those guys now.

OK, good. Wasn't sure if we needed to wait until after the playoffs and the official beginning of free agency.
-
No, that's been the exact problem. Their contracts auto-renew on the first day of free agency I believe.
