Just an update - Paris' first round 2107 pick was originally Majid Radia (http://www.worldbaseballassociation.com/reports/news/html/players/player_4743.html) from Qatar. Now Anton Durand from Saint-Etienne, France.

So do the name/nationality change rules get tweaked in view of the fact we've gonna be doing an international baseball tournament?

(They're probably fine but thought I'd ask just in case somebody starts to always draft a non-french first round player and change him to pepe lepieu of Versailles or something, year after year).

I think we'll roll with the current rule for now. It would only be one player per year for a total of maybe 15 players on the top end (of course they would be the better players on average). If there are enough concerns I'm okay discussing it. Maybe if enough people want to go with limiting it to a change every other year.

Forgot to mention, now that I've modified the player origin percentages there's a decent chance that not as many people will even do this every year. There should be more top prospects available from each nation that has a WBA team moving forward, certainly for those nations who've had a WBA team for a while.

100% chance my #1 pick next year is pepe lepie from Versailles :)

Ha. That might get the commissioner veto, you know, because I'm a jerk.

Although a name like PepĂ© Dubois with the nickname "Le Pew" would work.   :D
