It's about that time as we're somewhere around the quarter mark of the 2107 season. This thread will keep track of teams on pace to lose cash to the league cash maximum rule each season and the amount they are currently forecast to lose. Owners who would like to make offers for the cash should do so whenever they want. This thread's purpose is to make sure that every league owner is aware of the teams who are in this situation so that the trades will better reflect actual market value for the cash.
As of 5/16/2107:
Florida Hurricanes - $26,401,872
New York City Empires - $9,584,520
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars - $9,173,994
London Monarchs - $31,543,682
Black Forest Foxes - $3,435,555
Seoul Crushers - $166,690
Rome Generals - $6,659,757
-
Yup. Looking to deal. Need to be more aggressive in FA next season.
Still interested in adding a SP to compete for a playoff spot this year, if anyone is selling
-
While I'm only going to be about 7 million over the limit I will listen to offers for more than that.
-
While I won't necessarily update this after every sim, here are the numbers through 5/23/2107:
Florida Hurricanes - $1,135,951
New York City Empires - $12,966,138
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars - $7,103,928
London Monarchs - $31,563,849
Black Forest Foxes - $1,511,446
Rome Generals - $8,330,788
Keep in mind that the earlier we are in the season, the more the numbers swing as they're projections until the year is over.
-
Through 6/6/2107:
Florida Hurricanes - $2,688,122
New York City Empires - $9,295,353
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars - $6,698,130
London Monarchs - $32,321,375
Black Forest Foxes - $2,206,501
Rome Generals - $6,355,742
-

Rome Generals - $5,283,292

What's up with London? How is it possible to be 35mil above the max?????
-
Very smart play? :D
I am normally pretty frugal with my $$ in ootp and the finances in this league are unique so I have been even more so to start this one. I also don't tend to over pay for free agents just because I have the $$$.
Once my young players start asking for real $$ I am going to rocket to that budget limit quickly, and I like to keep my home grown players around long term if possible.
-
This may be final as none of these teams are involved in the one game playoff tonight:
As of 9/26/2107:
Santo Domingo Palmchats - $2,909,592
New York City Empires - $11,039,258
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars - $5,199,715
Puerto Rico Coqui - $1,273,901
London Monarchs - $33,450,689
Black Forest Foxes - $498,516
Rome Generals - $3,386,639
-
The above is indeed the correct final report.
-
I'm willing to trade to get my money down, but I'm also more than willing to take my punishment for being an idiot in FA and not spending enough.
-
In the real world I'd take my cash and be the most successful team in the league by far since it's a business, but since that is not the case, if anyone needs cash make a reasonable offer.
-
Wait... This isn't the real world? :o
-
Hey everybody, what kind of a draft pick could I get for 2B Fu-chi Luo + my extra ~$5mil in cash?
-
As of 10/26/2107:
New York City Empires - $11,039,258
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars - $5,199,715
Puerto Rico Coqui - $1,273,901
London Monarchs - $33,450,689
Black Forest Foxes - $498,516
Rome Generals - $3,386,639
After tomorrow's sim we will be in the offseason, which means that all financials will be set for the 2108 season. Prior to tomorrow night's sim is the last chance to trade away excess cash.

I think I'm going to chicken out on making a deadline trade deal and just eat my money. Having second thoughts on trading Luo right now, because my AAA replacement might not be ready for next season and I don't see any reasonable 2B fill-ins on the Upcoming FA lists. Maybe I'll spend my $5mil on stadium renovations.
Thanks to everyone who 'bid'--sorry to waste your time.
