I have frozen the salaries table here:
http://www.worldbaseballassociation.com/WBA%20Arbitration%20Salaries%202109-10.html
Please recall that you may release these players in order to avoid being on the hook for their arbitration salaries. I believe that you can release them immediately now that the regular season is over with no financial impact, someone confirm if you know.
-
You can release them now but they won't be willing to negotiate with you during the offseason. At least, that was my experience last year. I recommend letting Huck release them via the arbitration system.
-
Highest Arbitrated Salary - Ghanaram Tuhin - $5,058,700
Average Team Impact - $9,913,568
Highest Team Impact - Sao Paulo - $15,311,893
Lowest Team Impact - Paris - $619,850
Current team payroll total in the WBA (payroll on the last day of the 2109 regular season) is $966,502,970
If no arbitrated players are released (not gonna happen), the total would be $1,101,195,614

I am confused. Do we not do arbitration in game here? If so, why not just not offer them arby in game?

No in-game arbitration. Due to our use of custom financials letting OOTP handle it would have been disastrous.

Arbitration amounts for your players are in the link in the first post of this thread.

Ok, makes sense. Thanks Huck.
-
Huck - when is the arbitration release date?
-
Need to let me know before I run the first offseason sim. The night the WBA championship series finishes I sim until the first day of the offseason. Need to have them announced here before I then run the next sim after that.

Melbourne arb-releases Dave Mendoza
-
The only reason to not release them in game would be if one wanted to negotiate with them in the offseason?
-
Correct, they will usually refuse to negotiate with you if you release them in-game. If you know you don't want them then there's no harm.
