Title: Auto-draft question.
Post by: Coop on September 19, 2017, 12:09:19 PM
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I see a problem with the Stats+ draft.  Under the old system, if you failed to show up when it was your turn to make a pick, the system remembered that, so the next time it was your turn, the system automatically drafted for you.  This was helpful in the IBL because several of our GMs weren't logging in.  But the new system doesn't seem to remember that, so every pick is taking the maximum time.  It's going to take a very long time to get through 20 rounds at this rate.  Is there a way we can address this?

Yes, you can trade all of your picks to me so that you no longer have to worry about the draft.

Well, that was quick service.  :). As soon as I went back and checked, the system made two auto picks.  Does the auto-pick process kick in starting in Round 3?

That's not the situation, actually. clap turned off his auto-draft twice after missing picks. He hadn't joined the #ibldraft channel in the Slack group so he wasn't getting notifications. You'll notice that Seoul and Karachi had quick auto-picks this round because the system does remember.

Should be fixed moving forward now that clap is up to speed.   :D
