I have frozen the salaries table here:
http://www.worldbaseballassociation.com/WBA%20Arbitration%20Salaries%202111-12.html
The arbitration option is now active in OOTP. This means that if you do not want a player to receive their arbitration salary then you should withdraw your arbitration offer in-game when the time comes. This doesn't happen until the offseason but I wanted to start the thread now. Players who have their arbitration salaries applied in game will be edited to the amounts in the link. However, if you'd like to help me out please feel free to make actual arbitration offers for players and we'll see what kind of salaries OOTP gives them. If they are reasonable given our finances then I may take this off my plate and just let OOTP handle it in the future.

Akrura Puli just destroyed the arbitration record. His arbitration salary for 2112 will be $8,608,540.

12 WAR is insane though...

Not sure if I need to post this here or not, but I have declined the arb salary for Thurman Jenkins and given him his release.
-
Where do I find the arbitration page in game?
-
Gomer, they are only on the website. We handle arbitration outside of the game.
-
Actually it's in game for releases now. I think Coop means he just outright released Jenkins.
Once the offseason begins then the arbitration pages should be available in-game.
-
I just release them in game every time, does not seem to be an issue.
-
The only issue comes if you have some intent to re-sign the guy. Most players that are straight released refuse to even negotiate. Non-tendered guys tend to be more flexible

Ah ok. I haven't had one I wanted to resign.

Arbitration screen is now available in-game.

Most of my suggested arbitration offers are fairly close to our calculations. Anyone have any that are wildly off (Tareva is off by the most for my team).
-
I'm just curious why you don't let ootp handle arbitration in game? Seems like it would be a lot less administrative burden.
-
Because some people were worried about how that would work with the custom financials. From what I can tell on my team, the values are fairly close so I'm leaning heavily to making it in-game next season.
