The Black Forest Foxes approve the above trade.  The two draft picks mentioned are for the upcoming rookie draft (2104 preseason).

ugh, i thought i had him for 2 years, this will go down as the worst trade ever :)

Don't be hard on yourself; I don't think it was such a bad trade for you.  You got one of the very best players in the league, and you didn't give up ANY of your starters.  You gave up two draft picks, your #2 catcher and a minor-league outfielder who won't be ready for the big leagues for at least a couple of years.  It's not easy to get a superstar like Hashimoto without giving up one of your key players.  I really wanted your second baseman, for example, but you stood firm and wouldn't let him go.  You even managed to shed Moran's contract along the way.  So really, you did a good job of arranging a deal that helps your team for the short term, and I think I did a good job of arranging a deal that should help my team for the long term.
