Tokyo Fitzies starter Mayne Rippon pitched a strong game against the Melbourne Meteors at Fitzies Stadium, leading the Fitzies to victory, 4-1. The Meteors drop to 4-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2151 season.

The Fitzies got a big at-bat from first baseman Gualter Bonito. For the game, Bonito was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Tokyo a 2-0 lead.

"We had a good game plan," Rippon said, "and we were able to execute it."
