Purbacaraka, Palmchats Too Much for Beefs
The home crowd had a good time watching the Chicago Beefs and Santo Domingo Palmchats get after it.

Yuda Purbacaraka added some punch to the Santo Domingo offense, helping them outmuscle the Chicago Beefs, 12-7. In the game, Purbacaraka, who is tied for 5th in the ABL with a .674 slugging percentage, was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Chicago, with the loss, is still a stout 8-3.

Husayn Saeed, who is rated as the 37th best prospect by BNN, took Chicago hurler La`nh Vu deep in the bottom of the second. His 3-run home run put the Palmchats on top, 3-1. In all, Saeed had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"We maximized our offense today," said Santo Domingo skipper Huck L. Berry. "That makes everyone's life easier."
