Iván López had a strong outing for the Paris Fleur-de-Lis against the Rome Generals at The Colosseum. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 10-3 win. López, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 4 walks. Paris goes to 7-6.

The Fleur-de-Lis got a big hit from pinch hitter Abdullah Engevik. Facing Rome pitcher Elikai Ipo in the top of the seventh, Engevik pounded a 3-run home run to right. His 1st home run of the season put the Fleur-de-Lis ahead, 10-1.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said López after the game.
