Right-hander Christian Perron mesmerized the El Paso Thunderbirds while leading the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars to a 3-0 victory. The Jaguars, now 2-0, have stormed out of the gates.

Perron, who dominated for Rio de Janeiro, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 7 innings, while striking out 3. El Paso batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Perron.
