The Santo Domingo Palmchats battled the Sao Paulo Toucans into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Palmchats won it, finally, 8-5, in 10 innings. In the game, Santo Domingo third baseman Luys Pegas went 2-6 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Umer Ufanisi picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Anthony Dalton suffered the loss. The loss makes the Toucans 5-9.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Pegas delivered big-time for Santo Domingo, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Anthony Dalton. The game-changing hit put the Palmchats on top, 6-4.

In postgame remarks, Pegas said: "I'm proud of our guys, of their fight."
