Voyageurs Send Cairo Home with 5-2 Loss
Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Randy Klein, who is tied for 4th in the IBL in extra base hits with 8, the Oslo Voyageurs defeated the Cairo Pharaohs, 5-2. The winning pitcher was two-time Defender of the Year Award winner Mujtaba Mahmud Khel. He tossed 124 pitches over 8 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits. Khaled Hakim earned the save, his 6th, for the Voyageurs.

Early in the game, Klein had a 2-run double for Oslo. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Voyageurs on top, 3-1.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Cairo manager J Stell.

The victory makes Oslo 9-6, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2155.
